Is HubSpot HIPAA compliant?

HubSpot itself is not HIPAA-validated, but it can be configured for HIPAA-aware workflows. HubSpot's enterprise tiers support certain configurations that work with a BAA. The key is architecture — keeping PHI out of fields and workflows that weren't designed for it, and using Salesforce Health Cloud or an EHR as the system of record for clinical data. We help teams draw that line correctly.

Should we use HubSpot or Salesforce for our healthcare or life sciences business?

It depends on stage, compliance posture, and commercial model. Commercial-stage device companies, smaller CROs, and mid-market healthcare nonprofits often do well on HubSpot alone. Enterprise MedTech, global CROs, and organizations with complex regulated sales processes typically need Salesforce as the system of record — often with HubSpot as the marketing layer. We help you make the call based on where you actually are.

Can HubSpot and Salesforce work together?
