What is Agentforce and how does it apply to healthcare and life sciences?

Agentforce is Salesforce's AI agent platform. It lets you deploy autonomous agents that take action inside your Salesforce org, not just generate text. For healthcare and life sciences teams, that means agents that handle HCP outreach sequences, sales development follow-up, donor re-engagement, rep meeting prep, and lead qualification without anyone manually triggering a workflow. Agents read your Salesforce data, reason over it, and act within guardrails you define. We design and configure them around your specific commercial or fundraising workflows, compliance requirements, and data model.

Is Salesforce HIPAA compliant?

Salesforce offers HIPAA-eligible configurations under a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for certain products and tiers. HIPAA compliance isn't automatic, it requires correct configuration of field-level security, access controls, audit logging, and PHI handling practices. The same applies to Agentforce: agents must be scoped to access only the data they need, with clear PHI boundaries and audit trails. The BAA and the platform are necessary but not sufficient. We help you architect the org and the agents to operate compliantly, and tell you clearly what remains your team's and your legal counsel's responsibility.

Which Marketing Cloud product is right for our healthcare or life sciences team?

Salesforce Marketing Cloud comes in two primary flavors for healthcare and life sciences. Marketing Cloud Engagement is best for high-volume, multi-channel programs — HCP email campaigns, patient journeys, donor stewardship, and SMS with Journey Builder and sophisticated segmentation. Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE, formerly Pardot) is the B2B-focused option, built for lead scoring, nurture sequences, and sponsor or site engagement programs where the buying cycle is long and relational. Many healthcare organizations need both: MCAE for commercial and sponsor pipelines, Engagement for broader audience communications. We help you scope and configure the right combination for your team and budget.

What is Salesforce NPSP and is it right for our foundation?

NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack) is Salesforce's long-established managed package for nonprofits, covering donor management, household accounts, gift processing, campaigns, grant tracking, and engagement plans. Most existing Salesforce nonprofit orgs run on NPSP, and it remains fully supported. Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) is Salesforce's newer, natively built cloud for nonprofits. It includes Fundraising, Program Management, and Outcome Management as first-party Salesforce products rather than an installed package. Salesforce now recommends NPC for new implementations. For organizations starting fresh, we typically recommend NPC. For organizations already on NPSP, we help you run it well today and plan a path to NPC when the timing is right.

Can you migrate us from Raiser's Edge or Blackbaud to Salesforce?

Yes. Migrations from Raiser's Edge and Blackbaud CRM are a common engagement for us, particularly for healthcare nonprofits and hospital foundations. For organizations with established Salesforce usage we typically migrate to NPSP; for organizations starting fresh we recommend Nonprofit Cloud (NPC), Salesforce's newer native platform. We handle data mapping, constituent deduplication, gift history, soft credit relationships, and reporting continuity. You go live with parity, not a blank slate.

How long does a Salesforce implementation take?

A focused Sales Cloud implementation for a commercial team typically completes in 6–10 weeks. NPSP migrations, Marketing Cloud implementations, Agentforce rollouts, or builds with complex data models run 10–20 weeks depending on scope. Agentforce agent design and deployment can often be done as a standalone 4–6 week engagement on top of an existing org. We scope honestly up front and the scope is agreed before any work begins.

Do you provide ongoing support after implementation?

Yes, but only if you want it. We don't sell retainer subscriptions by default. Managed services are available for clients who want a long-term partner, not a one-time implementation.
